  • Batukaru Temple
    Pura Luhur Batukaru Temple is one of the six directional temples on Bali that are believed to protect the island and its people from evil spirits. Pura Luhur Batukaru protects Bali from the West and was originally built in the 11th century. Pura Luhur Batukaru is one of Bali’s biggest Hindu temples, but because it is off the main tourist trail, sees fewer visitors than many of the other temples. Its peaceful setting amid rain-forest at the foot of Mount Batukaru enhances its stunning Balinese architecture. The temple’s most important shrine is the 7-tiered meru that is in honor of the god of Gunung Batukaru, Mahadewa. Galungan is the most important ceremony of the year in Bali and during that time people come from all over the island to pray at the temple. The water at Pura Luhur Batukaru is believed holy and is used for ceremonies to the Gods to ensure fertility of the land.


  • Jatiluwih Rice Terrace Jatiluwih is a favorite tourist destination in Bali famous with the beautiful rice terrace unfolding from the foot of mountain until the coastal side. It is one of places to visit in Bali with the beautiful view as according to its name from Jati and luwih, where Jati mean really and Luwih meaning especial, good, and beautiful or the equivalent. The local paddies are planted in this place look typically of the high relative size plant if it is compared with other pre-eminent paddy planted by most farmers in Bali. It is one of the inheritance from the empire of Mengwi with beautiful temple building and the big fishpond surrounds it. This Temple owns the building boosting high and joins with others with beautiful decoration and it is designed by Balinese architecture.

    Tanah Lot is a Balinese Hindu Temple on the rock and the seawater encircles it when the sea water is tide. There are sea snakes dwell the cave in front of Tanah Lot Temple which you can see with small donation and those of them are believed the holy snake by the local community.
